The Woodward Convention and Visitors Bureau has teamed up with the Lakeside 6 Theater, Woodward Main Street and the Woodward Arts Theater for a special event this weekend in connection with the release of the movie Twisters.

Chaser Convergence will include a screening of the original 1986 Twister film Friday and the Woodward Arts Theater, a storm chaser car show along with the premiere of Twisters at the Lakeside 6 Saturday, and Woodward Tornado artifacts at the Plains Indians and Pioneers Museum.

Woodward Emergency Manager Director, Matt Lehenbauer, and Woodward CVB Director, Megan Johnston, joined the K101 Morning Show Wednesday to talk about the event.

All events are open to the public. The Storm Chaser Car Show and Museum events are free, tickets for other events available at the door.
