  1. my love to all of you that knew him and duke the dog, i enjoy them both everyday . i was blessed that he liked my grandmother ethlyn messner history as the 1st women bus driver for the laverne school. he read it , and it was good . i was bless that he liked it so well. and he will in my heart for ever , my love to all of you that worked with him

  2. just heard of J Dougs death this Xmas party at my brothers in Kansas. He was an amazing broadcaster that i will always remember. He gave me the opportunity to be myself even though we would lock horns quite often. I was so left that i never understood why i was chosen for the Morining Show, but looking back was a brilliant combination of both views, and all my team there at K101 was very professional and is easy on my mind. I escaped to the mountains and actually missed my time at the station, but he did piss me off on occasion, and i was not alone, but J Doug was J Doug, and i am better off for having known him. The fact that he died also pisses me off, but it was his time, and mine will not be so celebrated. I appreciate this opportunity to say good bye and hope the studio in the sky is as advanced as the one he put together at K101.
