The brand new Sooner Schooner IV is here! It was delivered to OU Tuesday, with the theme “back and better than ever.” The athletic department  revealed photos yesterday on the OU Athletics twitter page. Built by Werner Wagon Works in Horton, Kan., it features heavier running gear, a wider wheelbase, hydraulic brakes and a lowered driver seat and more space. Additionally, the new Schooner is wider, shorter and heavier in an effort to make it more safe. The old Sooner Schooner missed the rest of the 2019 campaign following a rollover accident during Oklahoma’s mid-October win over West Virginia.
